And revisited Voodoo Donuts.
Had a bacon maple bar this time!

Portland haps on Tuesday
Started with coffee again. Different spot. Apparently, leaves on top are common place around here.
Amazing food at http://www.tastynsons.com/food.html
Powell Books.
Saw the Devil's testicles.
Made a fire at Brynn's.
So, pretty much like a day on Kwaj. ;) Miss ya Kwajers.

Sunday
Started the day at 7 Virtues Coffee Shop.
Then headed to the Portland Art Museum.
But it wasn't opened yet, so we killed time at a wine bar. Did some origami there. My new friend Valerie made a cup for me to drink wine out of. I made a fishy out of two 1 dollar bills.
Finally made our way to the Museum. There was a neat exhibit of illustrations of the bible. http://specialexhibitions.pam.org/rcrumb/
Afterwards, stopped by an Irish pub, and then a Mediterranean Restaraunt. Yummies!
Then I met a new friend and we went to Stripperoake. You sing while strippers dance around you. Very interesting crowd. There was even a trekkie there.
Then off to Voodoo donuts for a late nite/early morning snack.
There was a young homeless guy who did magic tricks outside of the shop.
So, to recap,
coffee,
wine,
museum,
irish pub,
mediterranean food,
stripper karaoke,
magic show,
donuts,
bed. Good nite Portland.

A nite and day in Portland
Went to an amazing Lebanese Bistro last nite. http://www.tarboushbistro.com/
And this is what we ate.
I guess they have belly dancing there. Would love to go back for that. Makes me reminiscent of the days when my dad took us to those type of restaruants.....as 10 year olds ;)
This morning after breakfast, we went inside a fun store.
Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. Maybe a walk or a hike. We'll see after the nap. ;)

Going to Portland
Well, I had two weeks before my next tattoo appointment, so I had to figure out how to spend my time. And I didn't want it to be in the Sac area, because the casinos are too alluring. So, I woke up Tuesday and made up my mind to make the almost 10 hour trip to Portland. Made it in just before Midnite and met my sissy, Heather, who was staying with her roommates' parent's house.
I was so proud of Homie because he made it 26 miles after his low fuel light turned on. He was such a trooper! I made sure and told him and patted him. Oh, and Homie and I were both surprised about the full service gas stations as we crept up late at nite with an attendant running towards us. It was cool but he told me it was full service and when I got back from the bathroom my windshield was still scattered with bugs. Full sevice my ass.

What it's all about
After living on a remote island for the past 5 years, I have decided to come back to the states, buy a van, and travel around visiting friends and family. This is a chronicling of the adventures on my gypsy journey.
